Solve the problem that Google Chrome cannot be reinstalled after uninstalling

Are you scorched on the road to reinstalling after uninstalling Google? Can’t install after downloading over and over again? (This is really good for the moment to uninstall, it’s easy to uninstall and difficult to reinstall)

No matter how you download it, you can’t install it. You anxiously ask Du Niang for help. Baidu comes out a bunch of tutorials, but you don’t know which one is effective, so you have to try the operations that you don’t understand one by one. (Hey, don’t rush to deny it, I used to be such).

These methods are also reasonable, Google cannot be installed, usually because the computer has installed Google Chrome before, so that the Google Chrome registry is still left in the system, causing the reinstallation to fail.

According to the tutorials given on the Internet, I had a fierce operation (whatever it was, I just deleted it randomly), and then I installed Google, but I couldn’t install it again (I tried it over and over again, but it didn’t work, and it was about to crash. ), there is an urge to smash the keyboard (no more Google, let you bully me).

But to be honest, Google is really easy to use, and I am not willing to abandon it. I tinkered and tinkered and finally found a solution. Here, I have also listed my attempts.

The solution is as follows:

method one:

  1. Open the computer “Run” (shortcut key windows+R, you can also right-click the “Start” button in the lower left corner of the computer and then click “Run”). Then enter “regedit” and click “OK” (a registry editor item will come out, click “Yes”)

  2. Go to the “Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Google” folder one by one and delete it

  3. If you can’t view the Google files, you can try to press and hold the shortcut key Ctrl+F in the registration list to find it, and then delete the related items in the Google browser, so that the Google registry can be cleaned up. , After deleting the remaining files related to Google Chrome, you can try to install Google Chrome again

Method Two:

  1. Open 360 Security Guard, select the computer to clean up

  2. Click Single Cleanup, select “Clean Registry”

  3. Click “One-click cleanup”, and then install Google (if you still report an error, try to restart the computer)

Method Three:

  1. Create a new text file (notepad is not recommended, I use notepad++, I created one directly on the desktop)

  2. Copy and paste the following code in the file

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

;WARNING, this file will remove Google Chrome registry entries

;from your Windows Registry. Consider backing up your registry before

; using this file: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322756

; To run this file, save it as'remove.reg' on your desktop and double-click it.

  1. Name the file rm.reg

  2. Double-click to run (some options may come out, I defaulted), and then reinstall Google

Method Four:

I heard that geek uninstall software can delete the registry, so you can use it to uninstall Google, and there will be no problem with reinstalling. (Maybe for most people, this method has little meaning)

This article only records my hard time in reinstalling Google. The above methods are collected from the Internet. If you have the same problem as me, you can try it to save your time on Baidu. If you don’t understand the third method, there is a ready-made file, here is a link: Click here
